The Kukonda is made from recycled coffee sacks donated by coffee roasters, then handcrafted in Malawi by fairly paid tailors.
The coffee sacks all have different designs printed on them making each bag unique.
Traditionally styled duffel. You can sling it over your shoulder, or split the rope drawstring to make a back-pack.
The inner tube base and flap protect your stuff from showers, while the double layered coffee sack is fully lined with eyecatching “Chitenge” a wax-printed 100% cotton, making for a very strong bag.
Some recycled inner tubes have manufacturers writing or the odd puncture repair patch meaning no two bags will ever be the same.
45cm wide, 50cm tall, 28cm base circumference.
Inner tube products contain butyl rubber. Butyl rubber contains PAH’s. Keep away from the mouth and avoid prolonged contact with the skin.
Cycle of Good operates in Malawi utilising recycled materials and employing fairly paid tailors to create unique, hard-wearing products. You can read more about them at https://www.cycleofgood.com/our-story/
