Rebel Romance - arrives in store with a bang!
Do you know when you think you're having an okay day and then you find out you're actually having a fabulous day?
Well that's what I've recently felt like. And it's all down to the genius that is Rebel Romance and Amy and her team! For those that know me, I'm not specifically wallflower type with my dress sense, always being a bit "edgy" so they say, especially as in my 60s so many of my equals are feeling like they have to become relegated to the "beige brigade"!
But not me AND I most certainly would encourage anyone to come out and try on this fabulous range before throwing in the towel. Amazing Limited Edition Prints, designed by talented indie artists, and fabulous quality comfortable clothing, ethically made in small batches. An inclusive range with sizes from UK 5XS to 6XL with something to suit everyone. So what have you got to lose?!
My first item was the Pond Dipping dungarees. I've always been a sucker for dungarees and this fabulous design certainly caught my eye. It was also a case of "well I need to advertise in the shop myself" which gave me the go ahead for these and this was rapidly followed by a Constellation Sun & Moon midi smock dress to showcase the new range to our customers. What a hit they have been already! I love the fact the buckles on the dungarees stay where you put them, no need to knot the straps or come up with intricate ways to get them to stay put!
Within 2 weeks I was reordering and I had to have a set of the Floral Cobweb Boiler Suits too just to make sure everything in the range is equally as comfortable, well you just have to, don't you.....!! I'm already pulling together a catalogue and an order list for customers which will allow us to share the full range and meet our customer requirements as frequently as possible.
And if things carry on as they appear we will be rejigging the shop layout to increase the range in store. All it needs now is for you, the customers to come in and let us know how you feel about the new goodies. Feedback so far has been excellent and very encouraging. My next purchase will definitely be either the Purrfect Cats dungarees or flared pinafore! A lovely lady bought the dungarees and we teamed them with this Cottage Core boxy crop top. You know I wasn't sure how they would look together, but they were fabulous and she was so happy she left them on to continue her shopping! What do you think?
From a maintenance point of view I'm also pleased to say they wash really well. The label does say hand wash and no tumble dry. I did put mine in the machine on a delicate wash at 30 degrees and then line dried or you could dry inhouse. The clothing lost no colour and maintained shape and size perfectly.
